Today we get to hear from a user of the BOTS app: Edward. One of the many users telling us about their BOTS app experiences.

‘’My love for crypto is enormous,’’ says Edward, ‘’mostly because of my resentment against banks and their advice that mostly benefits themselves. That’s why I’m a huge fan of the BOTS app.’’
Edward approached us with an enormous amount of enthusiasm we wanted to know more about, so we planned an appointment.
‘’Crypto has an independency that ‘normal money’ doesn’t and never will have. That is why I started trading myself. But that obviously takes up a lot of time.’’ Edward is not unfamiliar with trading in crypto currencies. ‘’I even used to set my alarm for it at night,’’ he laughed, ‘’because it simply takes a lot of time and effort to do it all right. That was to the detriment of my sleep.’’
Edward & BOTS
Around March/April of this year Edward saw a BOTS advertisement. He signed up for one of the first road shows and he was immediately enthusiastic about BOTS.
‘’Especially the openness and transparency spoke, and still speaks, to me.’’ Edward decided, other than to start using the BOTS app, to become a certificate holder as well. ‘’When I became a certificate holder, BOTS was still in its infancy. The steps that have been taken, give me, as a user and a certificate holder, an enormous amount of trust in the future.’’ Edward also believes that future approval of the DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank) will give the growth of BOTS a real boost. ‘’It will add so much trust, it can only result in even more growth,’’ he says.
Edward currently has nine bots running in the BOTS app. ‘’Every month I add more to a running bot or I choose a new bot. This way, my capital keeps on growing slightly.’’
Edward mostly appreciates the simplicity of the app. ‘’Trading isn’t easy, but the BOTS app has succeeded in making the complex process extremely easy. I was even able to explain it to my parents (78 and 81 years old) and they completely understood it.
Edward also greatly appreciates the approachability of thebot creators. Even though he knows a real chef won’t spill his recipe, he would like to know more about certain methods the bots use to trade. ‘’Obviously they are not going to spill the beans on their algorithms, but I would love to know which indicators are used to trade.’’ Edward mostly hopes that the bots will go short soon. ‘’But I see I’m not alone in this on Discord.’’
The future of BOTS
The future of BOTS is bright, according to Edward: ‘’Algorithmic trading really is the future.’’ ‘’I’m still trading as well, apart from the BOTS app, but the largest risk is still trying to control your emotions. You need an iron set of discipline, and I don’t always have that.’’ He stays quiet for a moment and continues: ‘’If you think you have won trading manually, you have actually already lost again. That is why the BOTS app is great.’’
Since Edward started using the BOTS app, he has been trading a lot less manually. ‘’Mostly because of the return. Right now, I have a return of 40%. But another great advantage of the BOTS app is the tranquillity it creates. You will never be able to find that in manual trading.’’
Looking at the future of BOTS, Edward believes it is extremely important that it remains reliable. ‘’BOTS is not some shady company in a foreign country, but an open and transparent company in the Netherlands. Exactly that is the strength of BOTS and it should remain like this.’’
When asked if Edward, an experienced crypto trader, would keep trading with BOTS if they started offering shares through the app, he states very clearly: ‘’Yes, of course, it would be best if all markets were approachable through a bot, so a bot could get the best possible return for you.’’
